OK so I didn't print out the ToS when I signed up, but who does?

I'm seeing a lot of messages being closed by Rob in the "General Chit-Chat" area for not having any relation to material on MP.

Then don't call it general chat then! I was not the only assuming person to think that was a free flowing forum that anything us MP community people would like to chat about.

The "Really Scary Legal" link at the bottom of every page has information about the acceptable use of these forums, but I guess I'm missing the part where we cannot discuss non-MP material in a "General" chat section.

Hey, I have to agree with Chronically420 on this one. That area is called the 'Lounge' and it does say it's 'general chit chat'. Right now, there are topics in there ranging from sports to hot dogs. Heck, even one of the administrators (karl) participated in the hot dog discussion and another one. He said nothing about these posts being inappropriate for that area. But another administrator (rob) is closing the threads because 'they are not related to MousePlanet topics.' Ok...which administrator is right, here? If you don't want things like hot dogs and stuff discussed in the 'lounge', why did you describe it as 'general chit-chat'? If that area is only for MousePlanet topics, say so in the descriptions of the rooms. I don't mean to be rude to any administrators, but Chronically420 is right...it doesn't make sense.

Anyway, that's just my opinion.

yea waht is going on??? that is really discouraging if sports isn't considered general chit-chat???? i am not saying buy LAKER gear but am just wondering who everybody is rooting for???? it is general chit-chat right???????
