i've been trying to make my ps for my family & the one we are traveling with. i made ps for 8 (4 adults & 4 children) and left out the 7 week old because i plan to keep her in a sling. now i'm being told that i need to make my ps for 9....that's putting us into a whole new catagory at wdw....group sales/split tables, etc. anyone run into this? can i just ignore the fact that i didn't include the infant & show up or will this be a big problem?
thanks.

I'm not sure 'who' is telling you to include a 7 week old in any reservations but I personally wouldn't do it since it's obvious the baby won't need space at the table, won't be partaking of any of the meals provided by the restaruant. If questioned when you get there I'd just look at them and ask WHO on earth makes a ressie for an infant?

I only have to say~
You go, MammaSilva!!
And, she is absolutely right. Heck, most places don't even expect you to include them if they are under 3, right? Or if they will be in your lap.
And it isn't like she is going to be ordering anything...unless formula is now on the menu..........

The only reason I can think of to tell them about the baby is the space issue. If the baby is being held by someone, then that doesn't make a difference in the reservation. But if the baby is going to be in a carrier and needs to be put on a chair or something, I can see how it might be a problem if they had you pegged for a table where there's not a lot of extra room. I haven't encountered this in a reservation, but whenever I've been to a meal with someone who has a baby, we always tell them just to make sure we're at a table with extra space.
