For all your parent that went to DL with stroller, do you have to bring a lock and did you ever lost one if you forget to love the stroller ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

My stroller was usually very forgiving if I forgot to love it occasionally. ;) But seriously folks... I think it's very rare that strollers get taken at DL--at times a CM will need to move them if they happen to block a walkway, but that's about it. I wouldn't worry about bringing a lock. I even went so far as to leave all my earthly possessions in the stroller basket as we went on rides, but that's just me. adriennek 08-27-2003, 11:42 AM I have been taking my children and their strollers to Disneyland for almost 5 years now. I have two Peg Perego strollers and one Aprica stroller. I have never used a lock on my strollers and, knock on wood, I've had no problems thus far. Be aware that if you take a lock and lock your stroller to a fence, you might find Disneyland Security waiting for you when you return to your stroller. This presents a security issue and may present a public safety issue if you lock your stroller somewhere that blocks walkway. Adrienne yen 08-27-2003, 12:09 PM OOP! Spelling error. thanks. DrivingtoDisneyAZ 08-27-2003, 02:55 PM We always bring a bike lock and lock our stroller wheel to the frame. CMs can still move it if need be. It probably wouldn't be necessary for us to lock it, but it makes *me* feel more comfortable. I've gotten my fair share of looks; can't say I've ever seen anyone else lock their stroller. It's just that I paid a whole lot of money for our double stroller and would be lost without it. dsnylndmom 08-28-2003, 11:34 AM We've been taking our boys since 1996 and have never locked the stroller and have never had a problem. We have also left stuff in the stroller both unintentiionally and intentionally and have never had anything take(KNOCK ON WOOD) That SAID.............once at Great America, we had our rental stroller taken(not moved TAKEN)and we had our picture of my husband and son on the log ride, it was my son's first time, in the back. :crying: Tina SoCalSnowWhite 08-28-2003, 02:45 PM We had our stroller stolen earlier this year. I had never locked it, just had faith that soemthing like that wouldn't happen at Disneyland. :( Thank goodness, the only thing in there was our camcorder bag, but we had the camcorder. We've been taking the cheaper stroller now and always take everything out before we leave it. |
