New Features

I don't know the details, but I'm told there may be a couple new smilies.

I won't go into all the details for the new features, but here are some of the highlights:

- Cleaner interface. Elements have been shifted or changed to improve usability.

- Enhanced search capabiliites.

- New smilies

Behind the scenes, the administration tools have been greatly improved, making the daily operation of the boards significantly easier. Additionally, all of MousePlanet, including MousePad is running on a brand new server with improved performance. All of this combines to free up resources and staff to work on new features. Be on the look out in the future!

I did notice a few changes. I was to the vBulletin site today, and it looks like you might have chosen an upgrade, right?

Overall, not too many changes to MousePad. Just tiny ones here and there like 2 new smiles, and such.

The "new" feature I like is that you can click on the number of posts on a thread and it shows you everyone who has posted on that topic and how many times! I thought it was kinda neat!

What I dont see anymore is the spell checker...what happened to that?

In answer to Lacrosse Boy, yes, it was an upgrade in the software, specifically from 2.0rc1 to 2.0.3.

Behind the scenes, we are running a brand new server that should speed up the boards and general response times for MousePlanet. Also, the problems some people encountered reaching the boards should be resolved with this move.

Yes it does click faster, thanks to the folks that had to work on this on a holiday weekend, I would have been working too but I fell into an open manhole at a jobsite friday so I got the day off with a bruised shoulder (and ego):crying: maybe I will sue the city?:D

Part of the template was corrupted somehow. I have updated the template, and the printable version now works properly.
