Helen, who goes by 3894, will be retiring from moderation duties after this weekend. She has a very big project looming on the horizon, and it will make moderating impossible for her.

On a happier note, Shoshana Lewin (MousePad name "Niwel") has stepped forward as our newest moderator. She will be moderating the Cruise forum for now.

Thanks!

I will put and end to these bad puns immediately!

STOP!;)

Well, cousin, I will miss your firm Mod skills, put them to work on something else firm, OK?

Welcome Shoshana! You be careful in that cruise forum. That's where the trolls hang out.

:( 3894 is going 101 :(

...Never mind - keep lurking (I hope to once again hear those trembling lips murmuring into the sweetness of her creme brulee: "Helen, my name is Helen")

Niwel !! Welcome aboard, My nickname has been "Julie McCoy" for years (social director for harbour city bears and all that), so if there's anything I can do for you, just look me up on Promenade deck - I'll be the one sipping sidecars with Carol Channing.

CHeers,
Rob :D

With a shot of vanilla, thanks. And welcome again--sorry, I'm sure not up on my welcomes this week. Goodbyes yes, welcomes no.

Miss you Helen! Come see us more often.:(

Welcome Shoshana! (yes, had to double check spelling)

I see now why I was always getting the wrong drink order. It should be ice cold filtered water, no ice, with a splash of lemon.

And to me, coffee is just a smiley in liquid form.

(Really, that is one of those sentences where, if you thought about it, you'd expect to get through life without ever using it.)

I wholeheartedly agree, though probably not in the way you meant it.

Kind of like "If it wasn't for that horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college."

AM- decaf nonfat cafe latte with a teaspoon of sugar.
PM- decaf tropical iced tea, lots of ice, have the refill pitcher handy.

Also, Alex would really like his coffee with a Tomato and Avocado sandwich, please.

Thanks!
Adrienne

Lani - tea lemonade Hmmm... tea lemonade is good, but if you read my original post in the thread, my favorite summer drink is barley tea (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18882&highlight=barley), and my favorite coffee drink is a red eye (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=240079&highlight=coffee#post240079).

But mostly, how did you get caffe americano for Alex? Coffee has never polluted his body. He believes the flavor of coffee ruins anything it touches, and would probably rather stick hot pokers in his eyes before being forced to drink coffee.

...but Shana, you're staff, so you don't have to serve us anything! :D

OK, we need some new non-staff mods then because everytime Margaret delivers the iced tea, she brings a bag of belly flops (http://mycusthelp.com/JELLYBELLY/supportkbitem.asp?sSessionID=&Inc=10&sFilA=FAQ%20Categories&sFilB=&sFilC=&FA=-1&FB=-1&FC=-1) for the boys and they're just CRAWLING ON THE WALLS AND CEILING...

Phew ... Thanks Lani!
I thought I'd never get out of this line at La Brea --- now I can go to Haagen Daaz where I truly belong! :)
