When I first signed up I said "yes" to "Use 'Email Notification' by default?" Now I don't want emails anymore, so I clicked "no" to that above question and saved the changes. I still get emails like crazy(Response to thread) even though every time I look at my options the "no" is still checked. What am I doing wrong?

Yep. I know what you mean. I disabled this option myself and was still getting emails. Hmmmm.

However, from what I could tell, the disabling of the "Use Email Notification" option only stops it on new threads you've posted to *after* the disabling. You still get the emails on any threads prior to disabling this option.

Well, this is what it looks like. Perhaps this is a bug?

I posted a thread about this awhile ago, and Sheila's right. It disables all new posts, but any old ones that people go back to and post a new post, I get an e-mail message. As the days go by, they have become less and less frequent...one every three or four days!!

When you click on the profile box you get a screen that has the following titles 1)New Private Messages, 2)Subscribed Forums, 3) Subscribed Threads. Click on Subscribed Threads. There is an option right under the Private messaging box that says "Unsubscribe from all threads" , click on that and it should take care of your problem.
