View Full Version : I love Michael Eisner
Alex S. 07-29-2003, 10:53 AM As of today, for the first time since I bought my first shares, the Disney portion of my portfolio is in positive territory.
So, as of today, I love Michael Eisner and the $60 dollars he has potentially put into my pocket.
If he can get that up to $100 by tomorrow, I'll babysit his children. $175 and I'll prevent him from greenlighting the next Pearl Harbor. $250 and I'll offer to prevent a disaster on the level of National Security.
RStar 07-30-2003, 05:25 PM Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were going to announce that you were coming out of the closet.:D ;)
I love you too, Alex!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure to announce that through diligent and exhaustive research we have determined that Disney CEO Michael Eisner secretly reads and posts to MousePad under the pseudonym RStar.
Ghoulish Delight 07-30-2003, 06:09 PM Oh, wow. Back up over $20! Cool. I haven't had the fortitude to check the price in a long time. Yay. Of course, my 5 shares were purchased for $35.50 a piece. Of course, that was in 1986, so, having split 12 ways since, my investment's done a might better than Alex's (~600% return over 17 years, is that good?).

But that's just to throw people off his trail.

Why? It was a good movie that made tons of money!
RStar 07-31-2003, 07:18 PM Well, I have to try to keep one step ahead of the APers! And that currly blond wig throws everyone off while I keep an eye on my brick in the esplinaud (I don't know why I named it that, I can't even spell the darned thing!)..................
So Alex, now that the cats out of the bag, I guess I can tell you that while you made the $20, my portfolio increased a tidy little $3.8 million, thank you very much.
Lashbear 07-31-2003, 08:38 PM Hey R-star, I think AP's for all padders sounds good ! Can you swing it for us ?
Cheers,
Rob.
PS: We need a DLR in Australia too ! Thanks, buddy !
RStar 08-01-2003, 11:19 AM Sure, no problem. However due to budget conserns they will only cost a low $495 now.
And as soon as I work on the next 6 parks in the orient I'll see what I can do down under, mate!
