Hi

Anyone rode the new Cars ride yet? How does it compare to Test Trak at Disney Worlds. Of coarse now they are redoing it. Is it fast etc?
Also where is a good places to stay for 2 adults. My son and I would like to go next year but want a room with a little space. I would love tos tay at the Disneyland hotle but I am sure it's too expensive. How is February to go to California?

The speed portion of the ride is like test track at Epcot. The kids and I really enjoyed ourselves. We would recommend getting their early
In order to either get a fast pass or just wait in line to ride it. The line had been averaging 120+ mins every day. As far as places to stay I recommend any of the hotels across from the Disneyland entrance. we've stayed at a couple and the prices are reasonable and it's so close to the park entrance.

It's really not comparable. The two rides are very different in nature. Is it fast, yes but doesn't have the long strait away that test track does so isn't as fast. Radiator Springs Racers in total is a much better attraction.

At Disneyland Resort staying onsite isn't a nessecity like it is at WDW. While the onsite hotels are all nice they are expensive but you can stay on Harbor and be the same distance away while paying 1/2 or less than the onsite prices. The Harbor hotels are all simple hotels. Older but not junky. I'd look into the Park Vue Inn, Best Western Park Place Inn, Tronpicana, Candy Cane Inn and Ramada Maingate. All serve breakfast and are within 10 minutes walk of the gates.

How is February to go to California? Except for President's Day week which is busy the rest of the month is quiet. Weekends are always busy and have long hours and full entertainment where as the weekdays have short hours. Since the attendance and entertainment varies it's good to blend weekend and weekdays. Also it's usually cool and can rain in that months. Kind of hit or miss if you get a wet week or hot week.

Before planning to ride Radiator Springs Racers, don't worry about the waits now of FP situation, see what it's like in November of January before your visit since it's likely to slow down a lot.
