View Full Version : Oh no! Daughter's 8th grade class going to DL on June 14th.

If your daughter is ok with you going, I say go for it. My DD(18) begged DH to go on the 7th grade band trip to Six Flags because she knew he would let the kids go on rides and would ride with the ones who were not too sure about riding or just sit out with them. Other chaperones seriously did not let their groups go on rides unless every single kid in the group wanted to go on the ride, and we all know that not every single kid wants every ride. DH had about 20 kids in his group and his group was the only group on time for lunch and bus check in. 5 years later the band teacher still calls to see if DH will go with the group. With that being said DD(15) has asked DH not to go with her on this years trip to Six Flags, her group will go on rides but likes to mostly hang out, see shows, shop maybe get in line and ride something, so grab the chance while you have it.

wow...our band trip they just let us loose!
