1. The person is on my Celeb. List on the other thread.
2. He had a partner who was perpetually 'sea sick'...One of his many partners was very short...he lived in a zoo and on a Space Station at the same time! He was a ham actor and a Phil Silvers con artist. He was the most prolific multi studio best of the best for decades. The above clues and this mess should give it to you. If he was a horse he'd be best in show. (and he was!)

Like many great character actors...you might not know his name...but I find that hard to believe for SOME on this board...but even if you don't know his name you absolutely (everyone here) know his roles.
There were some films where he would play 14 of them!
