We check out of the Beach Club on 29th August. I know they issue wrist bands for the pool there. Do you think we will be able to use the pool all day on 29th after we have checked out? Our flight does not leave until 7pm so we have a full day really and we can dump our luggage at 9am with the Virgin Airways early check in that they do at DTD. We will have a park hopper ticket left on this date as well but I was just wondering what our options were. We will have a hire car so no Magical Express to deal with. I'm thinking we will need to arrive at the airport about 4pm?

You can use the pool - or other resort amenity - on the day of check-out - even after you have officially 'checked out' of that resort.

Beach Club *should* also offer to let you use the showers in the workout room at Yacht Club after you're done swimming, although I don't know if kids are allowed in there. It's been a while since I've seen a guest confirm this, so something to doublecheck.

Don't they have shower rooms at the side of the pool? They have this at POR but I know they don't have it at POFQ. These are the only 2 resorts I've stayed at so I don't know if POR is a one off. Thanks for the info because flying home with wet hair might be a deal breaker for me. DD has VERY long hair and it's a long flight home to the UK.

I believe they do (I didn't make much use of them). It's just that the other facilities are nicer. Perhaps I'm used to being offered the gym facilities at nicer properties in general.

Ah well. Me too on home turf UK. But as it costs us 4k (£'s) just to get to the States we have to compromise on accommodations when we get there. But not this time. Beach Club called me to splurge!

I'm pretty sure they do, next to Hurricane Hannah's (but inside the pool area).
