I was asking about buying the empty CD case in Disneyland and using that code online. I know how to buy them online and have done that each time I've bought the CD. I don't recall why I thought it would be a good idea to buy it in the park, but when I tried, the CM had no idea what I was talking about.

Yes, shipping costs are an issue, that's why (and depending on the quantity of pics taken) I'm thinking on buying the CD at the parks, but if they give you just a voucher, it will be the same.

They can definitely burn a CD while you wait. Just, as others had said, you don't get the plus them with the Disney Borders, signatures, etc. Plus, it obviously only includes the pictures you took up until you had them make the CD, so you either have to dedicate part of your final day to getting it done, or you have to concede that you won't be taking/obtaining photopass pictures once the CD is created.

If you do get the CD while you are there, it has been noted that the crowds get longer throughout the day. I usually go mid-afternoon when I want to redeem a Disney Visa voucher and rarely have to wait more than a few minutes. If you are willing to sacrifice some potential photos, you can probably save time doing it earlier in your day.

Do you remember how long ago you did this? I think I recall you or someone else posting about this a long time ago and wanted to do around June/July 2011. When I asked the CM at the photoshop at Disneyland, she looked at me as though I was crazy. Granted, I might not have done the best job describing what I wanted, but I thought I was close enough that if it was still for sale they would have figured out what I was talking about.

I did this just this past Novemeber. I went into the shop, asking to buy the Photopass CD that would be shipped to me later, and the lady knew exactly what I was talking about and said that the version they had (the "empty" case) even came with the stock photos in a CD that I would be able to use right then. That was a nice addition to the photos I got via the online photopass photos later. Maybe you just got a newbie that day. ???? I still check my photopass photos at the park to make sure I've gotten everything and also to make sure that other people's photos aren't on my account, which has happened several times. I wonder how many of mine actually ended up on another account. I think I've always gotten all the pictures that were taken of us, so who knows. Anyway, try again. It really shouldn't be an issue.

Yes you can but you can't add the borders to the pictures in the park.
We've always gotten boarders in the pics we've gotten in the park. We've never ordered them at home so I know it was at the park.

I think she meant that you can't really play with the borders of all the pictures you are going to put on the disk while in the park, but yes you can get a border on prints you get at the park.
