I have found that the adult ticket is $41.95 and have found a $10.00 off thru work but I'm CHEAP and that too much for me. Has anyone found better? and what do the charge for child tickets?

Right now, the Lego Store in Downtown Disney has a coupon for half off a one-day admission. It can be used for either an adult or child admission, and it is good until December 31, 2003.

Thank you, that might be cheep enough for me. Do you have to buy anything, or just get the coupon?

When I went last Thursday, they were just sitting on the register counters. You could just pick one up without purchasing anything.

Out of curiosity, is Legoland even worth the half off?? I have never went, but have heard nothing but bad stuff about it? We just recently moved closer to the park, but have not went.

Well, LegoLand is designed for kids (and pre-teens), if this is not your focus, I am not surprised that you have heard bad things.

But for the kids (and pre-teens), it is an awesome park, and I have heard many, many good things about the place.

Just like USH is not a good park for kids, LegoLand is not a park that I would recommend to a couple of adults looking for something to do.

If you grew up with Lego, it is a fun experience to go at least once even if you don't have children. The Mini Land is actually pretty cool.

It's certainly not a Disneyland, but I think Dopeywife is right-if you've ever had any affection for Legos, you would enjoy a day at this park, kids or no kids. Miniland is fantastic, and there are a few mildly thrilling rides. It's a totally different atmosphere from any other park--very toned down and relaxed.

If you have a good discount for a one day ticket, it's certainly worth checking out.
