Just a curiosity... why don't you include msn messenger screennames in the profile? I use it way more than I use my AOL, Yahoo, or ICQ...

Probably because it isn't part of the default user profile template and we didn't add it when we started (MSN Messenger wasn't as common two years ago).

I am primarily on MSN messenger and think it would be a cool addition to the profile page.

I mostly yahoo, but so far Azim can only do MSN - so I may have to start using more clients.

Aren't these things going to talk to each other one of these days?

There are a couple meta-messenger products out there. I haven't tried on in a while though (I was using one for a while and then AIM found a way to block and that was my primary so I had quit using it).

I forget the names, though, and will post again once I have a chance to look (also, I believe Andrew uses one of them, so he may be able to answer).

I don't have AIM, YIM, or ICQ installed on my computer yet I still can talk to people with those accounts. How? I use Trillian! You may ask about MSN. Well, I use MSN messenger 6, but only because I like the features (Remote Assistance, share the web, ect)

I use Trillian (http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/trillian/index.html). It supports AIM, ICQ, IRC, Yahoo and MSN all in a single client, and there are a ton of very nice skins for it. Plus it's named for a character in the Hitch-Hiker's Guide, which counts as a plus in my book.

I only use MSN Messenger. All of my friends are on it. And, with XP's Remote Assitance, I get a lot of requests. :)

(I can't wait to get an Axim, that way, I can have MSN on the road!)
