Legoland Press Release

MAKE DAD A STUD – A LEGO® STUD THAT IS – LEGOLAND® California offers a unique Father’s Day gift, where children can build Dad’s image and immortalize him in LEGO® Brick. LEGO Mosaic is a new program offered at the family theme park found in the LEGO Club House. As children build their father’s image, they are building memories that last a lifetime. LEGOLAND was voted as one of the best locations to spend Father’s Day with Dad by readers of the San Diego Magazine. The 128-acre family destination in Carlsbad is open from 10-6 p.m. on Father’s Day and provides fun for the whole family. For more information about the park, call 760-918-LEGO or log onto www.legoland.com.

We saw people doing this last time we were there. The MC takes a picture of you with a little hand held ball-shaped camera. A computer then transforms the color image into a white, black & gray image. It then prints out a guide map of sorts that tells you where to place your lego bricks on the large background piece they supply you with (it looked to be about 18"x18"). They also supply you with the correct number of gray, white and black lego bricks, all you have to do is take it home and assemble it. I believe it was $29.95. There were quite a few people getting it done too.

Stud??????????

Considering the sexual connotations and meaning of the word...isn't that a bit odd for Legoland?
What about mom...what'll she do with all those offspring of 'The Stud'?
Ridiculous.
