View Full Version : Disneyland doesn't suck!!!
Trip report coming soon. Just a quick comment on whoever posted about my supposed conspiracy theory. I dont know what you mean. Its not a conspiracy. The CMS are either real dumb or dont tell you the truth. World of Color dining should not be as complicated as it is. 10 cms telling me to stand in 10 different places is either stupid on there part or they dont want anyone standing around. Yet everyone is standing around. The 8 day park hopper is a mess. Either offer it or dont. Why make people go nuts to find info out. I had to be put in exception book. Then my first day there 30 minutes for them to find my name. But again I have some good some not so good to say. My Disneyland sucks comment on another site was out of frustration after having a bad day in the parks.

So glad to hear it did not suck. I knew, despite some frustrations, that you would enjoy Disneyland. Looking forward to the trip report!

No conspiracy theory from me. You have to remember that many folks where responding to you on the discussion boards and many lurkers. The beauty of you planning your trip is that it added credence to the a conspiracy theory here on the MP, which is... that a visitor does not have to plan their trip to Disneyland, just show up and the magic happens.
And yes, CMs do not tell the truth but that doesn't mean that they are lying. Take Aladdin for example. I asked 4 times on my Thanksgiving trip if standing in the yellow square would give me a seat in the Mezzanine for my very first Aladdin show. I was directed to the ground level door. It was my first time and a Mouseplant tipster said that was the way to sit upstairs. As entry time inched closer to opening the doors, the 5th CM confirmed that this was indeed the waiting area for mezzanine. And probably the same with the Pole trick in NOS. The cms will direct you elsewhere.

See, the 8 day tickets are something I compare to the Togo's #28 sandwich. It doesn't appear on the menu. They don't really want to sell it, but if you know to ask for it, you can get it. The 8 days were removed because of all the fraud involved. But, you can talk to higher ups and get them issues, but you need to know you will be on an exceptions list, you need to realize it will take longer to get it straightened out, but it can be done. I've always been an exception, I know anything I do will take longer! And I order a #28 (but usually for MDM...)

That is true.

This could be true, if the CM thought at the time they were speaking the truth and later found out it was not the truth. That is possible as well.
But since Tino hasn't explained or given a trip report... (Can't wait to read it!)

question to CM: Can I stand here and have an opportunity to sit in the mezzanine?
response by CM: You need to stand way over there by the wall with the other folks to enter the building.
I know ( at least I think I know) that standing in the yellow square will put me in the mezzanine and the CM knows that standing in the yellow square will also put me there. But the CM does not confirm the truth.
