There has been quite a bit of discussion about the height requirements for the rides at Disneyland - but are the age requirements enforced? I've read other posts about tall two year olds on Space Mountain and Matterhorn. My family trip to the park is next week and we want to prepare our son for what he might miss. He's a little over 40 inches tall, and so brave he gives me gray hair everyday - but he won't be three until July. :(

As far as I know, the only ride that every had an age requirement was Matterhorn and Gadgets Go-Coaster, which has changed the requirement to 36 inches. Other than that, I don't think there is any age requirements, other than the standard if you are under 7 you must be accompanied by an adult.

Just thought I would answer my own question for anyone else wondering! I returned from my trip and not once did anyone ask my son's age. He rode everything that he was tall enough to ride - and nobody wanted to see that we paid for his ticket or asked his age. He came with us on FastPass attractions without a FastPass - no problems!!
