My hubby told me the sad news tonite. Wally Boag, entertainer extraordinaire, has passed away. I don't know what the details are on it, but he is gone.
He was one of the most talented comedians I've ever seen perform live and had a hand in so many things Disney-related over the years. Steve Martin has said that Wally Boag was his inspiration for getting into comedy.
I remember seeing him at the Golden Horseshoe Revue when I was a kid, spitting out his "teeth" as Pecos Bill and singing with Betty Taylor as "Sluefoot Sue". I always loved to see him when he was featured on the Wonderful World of Color and the Mickey Mouse Club.
