May 23 2011 (Travel day and Day 1)

My mom and dad dropped me off at the Sacramento International Airport. My flight was at 6 am, so i got there at around 4. The person who checks the boarding pass at the security part told me that i'm kind of early, so i went downstairs and returned 30 minutes later. I got through security okay. When i boarded the airplane later, i ended up getting a middle seat. So the airplane landed in Denver, and people got off. Me and 20 other people stayed on to continue to Orlando, i then switched to a window seat. So then people got on and then it was off to Orlando

When i arrived at the Orlando International Airport, i asked someone which way to go to the Magical Express, that person told me to go to side A. Unfortunately, the person told me to go the wrong side, because when i was down in side A, there was nothing there but rental cars. I then asked the person who was working down there and she led me to the right direction. When i arrived at the Magical Express everything went perfectly. The bus ride was perfectly fine. I really liked the video that they played introducing Disney World. When i arrived at All Star Sports resort, it was really huge. I checked in perfectly fine. I then went to my room which was very nice

After I settled down in my room, i decided to go down to Downtown Disney. I wandered around, and then i had dinner at Planet Hollywood. My waiter was really nice. So for my drink, I had a Pineapple Express, which had rum and other things that i don't remember. It was good, i even got a souvenir cup which was awesome, and for my meal i had a spaghetti dish, which was very good. After that i wandered around downtown disney for a tiny bit more, then i went back to my hotel and went to sleep

That day I went to Animal Kingdom. Unfortunately i got there at least 1 hour and 30 minutes early. But i waited at one of the turnstiles, i was first one in line for one of them. When we were admited into the park, they only let us walk a bit but we didn't get to enter the oasis, because there was a small parade. It was okay, small children got to go to the front of everyone so they can see. At first i was annoyed, but at the end of the small parade, they went back to their parents which was a relief. Then everyone got to go in the park. The first ride i rode was Kilomanjari Safari (sorry if i spelled that wrong). It seemed like a whole bunch of people were going there first. We all whizzed through the line. The ride was okay, but it was pretty long. After i rode it, i went to ride Kali River Rapids. Pretty much no line, i didn't get really wet. Then i went to Expedition Everest which was only a 15 minute wait. It was totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!! A lot of people said that the Yeti dosen't move anymore, i didn't even see the Yeti. When i got off i went into the single rider line to ride it again. This time i saw the yeti, he's toward the end of the ride. I then decided to ride Kali River Rapids again, and this time i got more soaked. After that, i headed to Dino Land. I went on Dinosaur which had i think a 10 or 15 minute wait. Let's just say that ride is super scary. I'm a 22 year old guy, and within the a couple minutes into the ride, i did not look up. I'm not a fan of dinosaurs, but the t-rex is very scary. Let's just say i won't be riding this ride ever again. After that ride, i went to see It's tough to be a bug!!! I actually really liked that show. I remember when i was young, i saw it with my family and i was scared of it, but this time i enjoyed it. The only part i didn't like was the spraying, because i was wearing contacts, and it felt very weird. Then i was hungry so i went to the Rain Forest Cafe. I sat at the bar. The food was expensive so i only got a drink. I got a strawberry daraqui which had strawberry and liquor. It was excellent. After that i left the park because i didn't feel it was necessary to stay there because i saw everything that i wanted to. In reality i only spent less than 3 hours at that park. So i took the bus to my hotel. I then had pizza at the food court, it was pretty good. I then went to Team Spirits, which was a bar near the pool, and i had a bud light. I then went to my hotel room and rested, i then had dinner at the food court and had a hot dog. I then relaxed and later went to sleep.

Wow! You went on a solo trip to Disney? That's pretty cool.

Your day at Animal Kingdom sounds great. 15 minute waits for Expedition Everest? Awesome!

Can't wait to read the rest.

Wednesday May 25, 2011

On Wednesday, I went to Hollywood Studios. Like Animal Kingdom, i got there pretty early, oh well. It was morning extra magic hours. When the park opened i went straight for Tower of Terror. There was only a few people ahead of me, everyone else i think went to Rockin Roller Coaster. I was on the first elevator for the day for Tower of Terror. That ride is totally awesome. Then i went to Rockin Rollercoaster to find out that something happened, so i got a fastpass for it. I then went to Toy Story Mania. The wait was about 30 minutes. When waiting it seemed longer, but i really liked the queue for it. I then went to use my fastpass for Rockin Rollercoaster. What a blast!!! That ride was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I then went to go see the backlot tour. Unfortunately there were a lot of people waiting to go on it. It was okay, i thought it would of been better, but oh well. Then I saw the new Star Tours!!! It was great and it was only a 15 minute wait. Then i had lunch at Mama's Melrose Italian Resteraunt. I really liked the pizza, and the waitress was very nice. Okay, the following is not in order, i did single rider line for Rockin Roller Coaster a couple times, saw Muppets Vision 3-D which as always is a treat to see, rode Tower or Terror again, went on Toy Story Mania a couple more times but the only bad part about that was that the waits were an hour, but i didn't mind, i also went on Star Tours a couple more times the waits were about 15 minutes. I then ate dinner at Hollywood and Vine. I really liked the buffet. I then headed over to see Fantasmic. A totally awesome show!!!! I then went on Tower of Terror again. I then went on Rockin Roller Coaster, and by that time it was like 15 minutes before the park closed. I use the regular standby line which was a 45 minute wait, it seemed like the single rider line was closed. When i was waiting in line, i made some friends. I talked with a group of 3, so when we got to the boarding area, they asked me if i would like to join them to make it a party of 4. It was awesome. After the ride, they headed to Fantasmic, and i headed back to the shuttle to go back to my hotel

15 minute wait for Star Wars? WOW! I was so worried it would be PACKED! I am going back next week! How was it? Details?

yeah, it was about 15 minutes, i guess i kind of went during a slower time of the year, i thought it would be crowded. It was awesome, in the queue depending on which line you are in, there are robots that interact with you. Each ride is randomized so each ride is a different experience.

On Thursday I went to Epcot. Like the two other days, i got there really early. The music that was played was starting to get annoying. When the park opened, i went directly to Test Track. I walked right through the queue, one thing i noticed is that a ton of people really like to cut in front of others when the park opens and everyone walks quickly to an attraction. Test Track was very amazing. After Test Track i went to Mission Space. I was originally planned on not going on the ride, but the wait for the green team (the less intense version was 5 minutes) so i rode it. It was great, because i was the only person on my team, so the other 3 jobs were done automatically. After that i headed to Soarin!!! That's my all time favorite ride, of course due to fact that i live in California. The wait was only 30 minutes or so. I always cry when i ride this, I don't know why. After that i decided to see Living The Land. It was nice, the beginning i have to admit was pretty strange and weird. Then i ate lunch at Sunshine Fair thingy. It was pretty good. I then went to see Captain EO. That show was awesome. I thought it was going to be closed, but it wasn't. It was slightly weird to see Michael Jackson when he was younger and his voice was pretty high. Then i went to the World Showcase. I wandered around, just looking at sights and taking pictures. When i finally got to Norway, I rode the Malestorm, only 10 minute wait, i thought it was less because i walked right on to the boat ride. I thought it was okay, it was sort of cool, but no in the same league as the other attractions. I then found a margarita stand between Norway and Mexico. I had a strawberry margarita. As i was drinking it, i just wandered around. After that i walked to future world and went into innoventions. I was very disappointed because maybe 8 years ago when i went there with my family, i remember there were lot's of computer stuff to do, but when i went in there, there were activities but way to many demonstrations. After that i left the park, and arrived at my hotel. I then later ate dinner, then relaxed by the pool and then went to sleep.

I am glad you are enjoying your trip. Thanks for the report! Can't wait to hear how the rest of it turned out.

I am so jealous! One of these days, when my kids are grown, I am going to WDW and Disneyland, in the same year and just do what I want, when I want!

Friday, I went to the Magic Kingdom, and yes, i got there very early. At least the music was great, and it was fun for me to guess which movie or ride it was from. At least 30 minutes before opening, i heard some music that i heard earlier, but i didn't mind. I was in the turnstiles in the right. There was a big miss communication. They started letting in people in the turnstiles on the left-side, they finally let us in, we stopped before the tunnel, and glad that the other people on the other side weren't allowed to go to our side. The music played, the characters were on the train. The park opened, and i headed to Tommrowland. They had cast members guarding the Tommrowland entrance, and soon they lead us into Tommrowland. I first rode Buzz Lightyear. No wait, but i scored pretty badly, i think 600 or something like that. I did better at Toy Story Mania then Buzz Lightyear. I then went to Space Mountain. I think a 10 minute wait i'm guessing. It was an awesome ride. I then got a fastpass for it after i rode it. I then went to Fantasyland. I rode Winnie The Pooh, i have to admit, i like honey drizzling drawing part in the queue. The is pretty good, i like how it bounces during the Tigger scene. I saw Mickey's Philharmagic. That show is awesome, i have to admit, i sort of cried because it was that good. Then i went to Peter Pan's Flight. 15 minutes, i thought, no big deal. But it felt like more. The standby line barely moved. Somehow when i was getting closer, fastpassers started to get to appear. The fastpass and standby merges into one line at some point. Eventually they stopped the people at the fastpass line to let us in the standby line, (which we've been waiting for quite a bit), eventually i finally got on the ride. It wasn't worth waiting for 15 minutes, but i thought it must of been 30 minutes. Then I went to Space Mountain to use my fastpass. I was just close by to where i enter the vehicles when the lights went on. They announced there was a slight glitch. They then announced that it was closed. I was pissed because i already gave them my fastpass. But they gave us a fastpass that could be used for any ride for that day i think, if it was for that week, it wouldn't matter, because friday was my last day in the parks. I then decided to go to lunch at Plaza. My lunch reservation was for probably like 11:30, but i got there around 11. They gave me this device that would light up and my table would be ready. My lunch was very very good. It was a cheeseburger. I don't remember the name of it. It's the best cheeseburger i have ever tasted. I then went to Splash Mountain to get a fastpass. I then decided to go to the standby queue. The wait was probably 30 minutes. I really like the queue, but it was long. I finally rode it and it was awesome, as always. I then used my fastpass (the one that was given to me because Space Mountain closed). I recorded the ride. I then used my "normal" fastpass, i was hoping to get wet, but i didn't really. All 3 of those times, i was in the last row. I then got another fastpass for it. I then went to Big Thunder Mountain. The wait said 15 minutes. I felt it was 20 minutes, but not that bad. I then rode the ride, and omg, that ride is fantastic. I then decided to head to ride Pirates, the wait time said 10 minutes, i felt shorter. It was okay, not my favorite. Davy Jones got replaced by Blackbeard. I thought, oh hell no, Davy Jones seemed to fit better, but oh well. I then went to have my 3:30ish dinner at the Crystal Palace. Luckily i had reservations, because there was a lot of people waiting, i guess they didn't have reservations. The meal was great. The characters were less interactive with me then i thought it would. Eyore only shook my hand, Pooh did the they're crazy (waved circles in the air near his ear, referring to the previous family), but Tigger was the best, we did some sort of handshake. Piglet missed my table, oh well, i think he missed another table as well. The food was excellent, especially the meat. After the meal, i rode Jungle Cruise. The sign said 15 minute wait, i thought it seemed less. I then rode Splash Mountain with my fastpass, yay, i was in the 4th row, i got a little bit more wet. I decided to get another fastpass for it. I then went to the Haunted Mansion. I think it said 10 minute wait, but i walked right through the queue, and walked right into the stretching room. I really liked the ride, i think it's better than the Disneyland's version. I then went to It's A Small World. The wait said 25 minutes, and it felt like 30 minutes of waiting. I recorded the ride. That song, that never ending song!!! I thought the ride was pretty good. After that i headed to Tommorowland. I decided to ride Stitch's Great Escape, despite the bad reviews about it. What a delightful surprise. It was absolutely awesome. Of course due to me being a Stitch fan, i loved it when Stitch messed with my hair and even burped. I'm glad i saw it. I then went on the tommrowland people mover thingy, it was nice just to sit down. I then went to Frontier to ride Big THunder Mountain again, 20 minute wait. I then used my fastpass for Splash Mountain. As i got closer to the loading area, they announced that the ride might be closed soon, due to the storm that might be coming. Luckily, i was able to ride and was in the 1st row. After the 2nd lift, when the logs go around the mountain, i noticed there was no music, and the people behind me noticed that the logs were going a bit faster. As soon as we hit the first drop and go into the cave, me and everyone else in my log noticed that the audio animatronics weren't on. It was very creepy, there was even no music. Once in awhile we would hear some voices coming from the figures. After the second drop, we finally heard the music, but animatronics were off. As soon as we were done with the final drop, i got soaked, and it was raining. As soon as i got off the ride, i hurried to fine some shade, because it was raining hard. I was wearing a tank top because it was hot earlier that day. Eventually, after going from under covers to under covers, i made it to main street. At some point everyone started to leave the park including me. I eventually got to the bus stop. After 30 minutes, our bus came. Yay. I finally came back to my hotel. I dropped off my stuff and relaxed for the rest of the night.

When i woke up at 4:00 in the morning , i was sad. I was going to be leaving Disney World in 5 hours. I then got my stuff together and ate breakfast, and checked out, and got myself to the magical express pick up for going to the airport 30 minutes before the bus was supposed to pick me up. I got on the bus around 6:25ish. I then went and picked up people at the Corndando resort, not sure if i spelled it right. On the way to the airport, they played a video. It was like a recap or something like that. I admit, i cried, i was super sad i was leaving Disney. I got to the airport around 7:15 am. I got through security okay, got on my airplane okay, got to Denver, i got off, and transfered and got onto a plane going to Sacramento. I got to Sacramento around 2:15ish pm. My parents were waiting for me. They took me to Panda Express, then we went home!!! That's the end of my trip report from May 23-28. I was really sad, because the Orlando weather was perfect

I'm already thinking of going again next year. I think there's a couple people who said they want to go. If they can't, it's okay, I'll go by myself next year.
