Just like Disney USH has gone Non-smoking. They have 3 sections one by BTTF and one by T-3 and one on the lower floor. Unlike disney they dont talk about it in there maps yet
Question do you think it will work here.

Strictly my opinion here:
I think that, given both Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood rely on local residents for a good portion of their revenue, that it will be easier to implement and accept here in California vs. Florida. California is pretty much "smoke-free" in commercial places these days anyway.
I think this is a GREAT move and I hope many more places follow suit. My wife and I are extremely allergic to cigarette smoke, and when we run across someone smoking in line, it's both painful and nauseating to us - literally. Our children have never been around smoke, and also react negatively to it - something I consider a blessing for them.
I have nothing against people who smoke, so please don't consider this a comment on that. That's their choice. However, in public places such as this, I applaud Universal for making this happen.

I agree. Great move! *ALL* theme parks should adopt such a policy... especially given their target demographic.

i am glad that universal studios has gone smoke free, especially since everytime my mom walks bye or gets to close to someone her eyes water and we cut our stay short. So this should make my stay a lot better
