The Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland is great. You have a chance to look at the detailed sets while enjoying a thrilling ride. However, the Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland Paris is a thrilling backwards rollercoaster. You don't get a chance to stop and look at the themeing. I think they should have a part where the rollercoaster stops for a minute, and goes slow into a temple. Then, you may take some time to look at the detailed sets. While in the temple, a temple god could curse your train. At that moment, the rollercoaster would pick up speed and blast through the temple.
Do you think this would be a good idea to make the Indiana Jones rollercoaster better?

I think almost anything would make the Indiana Jones at DLP better. I hated everything about that ride, it was very uncomfortable and while I wouldn't consider myself a themeing maniac, it didn't seem like the immersive experience that you get at the one at Disneyland.

I agree with EandCDad - there really isn't that much to see, I think you experience most of it while waiting in the queue. The "temple" is no way like the Indy in Disneyland - just a bunch of aztec pyramid shapes & stones.
That said the imagineers did have to rework the ride to improve the "backwards" looking views - mainly by relocating lighting and sound fixtures.

EandCDad and cemeinke said it all. This ride is the most painful and uninteresting in DLP. I don't believe there is any efficient way of improving this attraction without demolishing the whole thing and starting over.

After hurting my neck, spine and lower back I vowed
never to ride this attraction again !
Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Peril Pail is
the worst attraction in Euro Disneyland.
No amount of increased or decreased speed at any point
in the ride would improve it.
It sucks.

I agree with the consensus here.
The ride is terrible.:(
It jerks your head around in the worst ways...and worst yet, you can't prepare for it, and try to hold your head still, as you can't tell where the heck you are going.
My oldest girl, had already ridden the ride a few weeks before we had gotten to DLParis (she was living in Paris at the time)...when we got to the park with her...she refused to ride it again. We...being intellegent people, should have taken her advice, and not gotten on.
One of the worst coasters I have ever been on...and will never recommend it to anyone.:(
