QuikQuote: While Disney’s animation fortunes have plummeted, Pixar has established a legacy of excellence not approached since Uncle Walt walked the earth.

I may be mistaken but I heard that disney has decided to fund micheal moore's next attempt at making a movie. They did it under the umbrella of pixar. I can only speak for myself but this guy doesn't deserve a dime for any of the things he does. Especially under the table money from disney. I have always thought that disney had liberal wiews but this frosts me. I haven't gone to many movies ,disney especially. If moore wants to promote his views he should use his own bucks. One thing he happens to NOT mention is that he is worth some bucks. This really makes me not want to go to potc or the haunted mansion movies that are due to open this year. James

The rumor, and that is all it is right now, is that Miramax, a different Movie production company that is own by Disney was the reported company that might fund Michael Moore's new movie. PIXAR has nothing to do with it, and wouldn't, PIXAR specializes in Digital Animation, Miramax specializes in "Art House" films.

Thanks for the correction however I'm still unhappy that disney is supporting this guy. James

I wonder if the studios who lust after Pixar are really willing to settle for just a 10 percent distribution fee. And can Pixar really pay for all the production costs themselves? I think that a 50/50 deal down the middle is fair for both Disney and Pixar as long as they split the production costs as well. Does anyone know the current agreement between the two?
