Spoiler Alert!

Here is a preview of the new Under the Sea- Journey of the Little Mermaid. WDW and Disneyland's versions will be different from the outside, but much the same in the inside:

The person who put this video together did an excellent job!!!!

It's crystal clear and very entertaining:

Isn't this video taken from the Little Mermaid DVD extras?? Looks pretty familiar to me! It was a computer "imagining" of what a possible ride MIGHT look like, if they were to make one, somewhere down the road.

When is the Little Mermaid scheduled to open at WDW?

The article that was posted says the following:

The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure will open at Disney California Adventure in 2011 and at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in 2012.

Very exciting!!! Looking forward to it.

I just don't get why Kiss the girl goes at the end of the ride. Makes no sense to me.

Probably because the instrumental wedding music is not as recognizable. Also the end looks pretty scary and they would prefer relaxed shoppers, rather than people looking for an escape.

Yes, this is the animation that was done as an extra for a dvd in the past few years. As I remember, it was actually done way back when the Little Mermaid movie was out and there was thought about doing a ride then. There have been so many changes in technology and design that, while some parts of the attraction might resemble this video, there is absolutely no guarantee that it will be the same at all. It is a very nice video, but it's not an animation of what they're currently doing.

If you look at the video under the article, it's also different. If it's anything like either videos shown, it sure is something to look forward to. Even the CARS attraction that is being built in Disneyland is super-duper (yes I said that word...lol) cool! I hope WDW would consider the CARS attraction someday. :D

THIS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx2NBncpdiE&feature=player_embedded) is really cute!!! Even if it's bits and pieces, it is a classic attraction in the making! :D
