Ok, this is really strange. Someone held an entire IM conversation IN MY NAME with themselves. They also were able to figure out all of my personal info (tel #, all my teachers, street address). Here is a transcript of the IM (note: I, nor anyone else in my house, typed my replies. They just appeard, also, I have deleted all my info for privicy reasons)

So, is this a cruel hoax or the real deal? Is there someone to report it too? I'm hoping you guys will know the answer! :confused:

I f you ever signed into Yahoo on another computer (say at school, or maybe a friends house) and never signed out, the info is available to whoever comes next. Sounds like someone you know is yanking your chain

The strange thing about that, though, is that 1) I have never used my IM account anywhere else, and 2) I just changed my password

I suggest you run a virus scan.

I'm assuming that you have friends and/or family members who know your telephone number, your home address, and your schedule? Could this be one of them messing with your head?

I believe there is an "ignore" function on IM. Use it with this doofus. That has stopped any irritants who have IMed me.

Okay, I got it all figured out. One of my classmates gave my address, phone, and schedule to their next door neighbor. And yes, Not Afraid, I have decided to "ingore" them :fez:
