What if you are in a queue, waiting for a ride and your little one suddenly does a pee pee dance. Do you have to completely exit the line and start all over? Or can someonre hold your space. Which I'm sure some impatient guests will find very rude. Can the CM's help?

Reason I ask this question is a had a dream it happened to me with my 4 year old. I have been thinking about it all morning. Wierd huh;)

Elisabeth.....I've had it happen to me.....'most' folks at the park are really nice to each other ....all I did was ask the people standing behind me in line .. who just happened to have a couple small ones of their own, if they minded 'holding my place.... they were very gracious about it, I stopped and let the CM know what we were doing and they were very gracious about it as well...and since people 'saw' us walking against the flow of humanity as we left to use the restroom they were all gracious about it when we returned a bit later... granted 'if' we had been close to the loading zone I think it would have been harder because we might not have gotten back before our 'turn' and the folks that had said they would hold our places would have already gone on the ride and been off doing something else....

What if your child has "potty mouth" and you need to exit the line to wash their mouth out with soap? Will the CM's still be as generous?
For that matter, do parents still wash out their childrens mouth with soap? And if so, is soft-soap preferable? My poor mother was dsylexic and if we were caught swearing she would wash our mouth out with soup, which, was not only delicious and a hearty meal, but it also encouraged us to swear more often. In our house, if you didn't swear you didn't eat. Or, you risked another bowl of my mother's famous chicken lava soap.

If you have another adult with you, here's another suggestion:

One adult could stay in line while the other goes to the potty. The adult in line could let the other people in line to "pass" until the child returns from the potty. When you come back, you're still in the same place in line, but you don't have to stand in the whole line again.

This would work well if you were near the loading spot.

We've had my son have to go to the restroom just as we were loading onto Pirates. When I said something to the CM he allowed us to cross over the boats, had the rest of our party wait, while I ran my son to the restroom. When we got back, he then loaded us. I thought it was really nice of him not to make us wait in that line again.
