Hey - - the VERY popular and intense Disney Seas I'm gonna hurl thread was moved from Disneyland Resort to Tokyo Disneyland!

I object, as it clearly had struck a chord where it was... and the subject was as much about DCA and Disneyland Resort and Disney management as Tokyo DisneySea. It desrves to be read by people who care about Disneyland.

We keep the threads in the topic areas (forums) that are appropriate. Clearly a thread titled "Tokyo Disney Seas - I'm gonna hurl" is going to deal with the Tokyo resort. The thread can easily be seen by anyone clicking "View New Posts".

So why don't you move the Natalie Portman afn Club into Entertainment?

As a member of the NPFC, I wouldn't really care what area they moved it to, I don't see why you care either. The Lounge is a catchall and is apropriate for almost anything. General Entertainment is also appropriate if the focus was more on her movies rather than the fact that we guys think she is hot and the women want to give us a hard time about our obsession.

Is it confusing to you that it is there? There are quite a few entertainment related threads in the lounge, no one seems to have a problem with it, till now.

I think that the Lounge is absolutely the appropriate place for the NPFC thread. It's not about Entertainment, IMO. I think it's about a bunch of people goofing off and having fun, which is the purpose of the lounge.

And I agree with EandCDad, I don't quite understand the repeated attempts to get it moved. I respectfully ask that the requests to move the NPFC thread end.

You may have a point but thats besides the point!!;) The NPFC is many years or hard work and dedication. As any member can verify, the NPFC is something that dates back to the cave man days. Where the neanderthals would draw crude NP pictures, using the blood of Dinosaurs, onto their cave walls.

We have roots and this is serious!! So since the Lounge is for serious talk...I stand by my decision!

merlinjones: The short answer is, it was moved because a moderator (no, I don't know who and it's irrelevant) felt it was a thread that had become primarily about Tokyo and therefore was more appropriate for that forum. I don't want to seem too despotic (though it is) but it is our job to make the calls and you're not going to agree with all of them.

Plus, if it is a topic that interests people, I don't think being in the Tokyo forum spells certain doom. Also, if you want to start a new thread that is more narrowly focused on DCA then feel free.


Jrob: So, I assume you are in the 80% of Americans who believe that man and dinosaurs co-existed? Also, you should talk to the freemasons; your creation myth is about as overblown as theirs.
