I see that some people have pictures in their profiles. How do you put them in?

Aurora ~ the posters who have pictures in their profile had registered back when MP had avatars... when the admin made the decision to disable them on the threads/forums, they still stayed in their profiles. I don't think new members have access to add a picture to their profile. Sorry :(
