Hello all,

I just read on a thread over at Jim Hill Media that sometimes in the past, shareholders have been invited to special events in the park, early rides, etc.. If you have Disney Shares, but they are held in a brokerage account, can you attend these events? And how do you find out about these events. My brokerage house says the only things they receive from the company are voting notices and financial statements. I tend to believe them, as well, they have never given me cause to doubt them in the past.

anyone have any info on this?

Thanks,

Trav

One used to get a lot more perks for owning Disney shares... until people figured it out, and the masses started purchasing just one or two shares.

So far as I know, the regular shareholder who owns a "normal" amount as part of their robust and varied portfolio, would only get a corporate annual report and ballot.

One would probably have to own a whole lot of shares before they are treated to anything more.

I believe if you have enough shares of EuroDisney stock you can visit the shareholder lounge in DLP. I believe you have to own somewhere around 300-500 shares before this benefit kicks in, so you've got to be committed.
