We have a Graco coach rider travel system. Would I be crazy to think I can bring this around WDW(including buses and monorails?)
My daughter will be 4 months when we go, so will we be better off just getting one of those baby carriers where baby is on your chest?
I assume this is one of the baby-carrier/car seat/stroller combinations, right? I saw lots of people with those at WDW. You do have to fold up the stroller when you board Disney Transportation, so a sling or pack carrier might be easier for a little one. It is really your decision - and your stamina.

It's a lot of walking and packs, especialy front packs, can be hard on your shoulders. I would definitely get in shape by taking walks (my husband did this before we took our backpack to WDW- but our baby was older- 18 mths). I think your best options would be to bring both and see how it goes. For example, in the morning the front pack might be nice, but after your afternoon break- you could come back with the stroller which might work better during meals. You also might consider getting a dedicated stroller because you will need one eventually as your baby gets older. One that lays flat so the baby can sleep, but also sit up and then folds lightly. I had the Graco system too and it was pretty heavy. Although this depends a lot on how you are getting there- airplane or car. Anyway, enjoy yourselves!!
PS the lockers are nice in each park. A great place for the bag of "just in case stuff" parents of babies have. You get a key and can get in and out whenever you need to restock. Also if you get a receipt when you leave, you can get another locker in another park that day.

Thanks for the replies. I think we'll end up taking both. I was thinking also about how sore our shoulders would be wearing the pack all day. :)

Keep in mind also that baby carriers and slings can be very HOT to wear, especially in the Florida heat. Having a baby pressed against your chest while trying to walk around in 90 degree heat is more than I would want to deal with! Most of the time you can just roll the stroller right on the monorail. The busses can be slightly trickier, but sometimes they open the bottom compartment for strollers, which really helps. Other wise, you or your husband will have to fold it and hold it on the bus. The stroller will also come in handy for carrying all the baby accessories, diapers, wipes, extra clothes, bottles (if you use them), baby tylonal, etc. Plus it gives you a place to keep your drinks! Have a great time!

We took a travel system/stroller combo to WDW in February and I wouldn't do it any other way. I did have to fold it to use the trams, but I was able to leave it open on the monorail and the ferryboats. Not sure if that was just an off season thing though, the monorail wasn't very crowded when I went. Have fun! :)

I've only been to Disneyland, but I think the baby carrier and Stroller is the best solution. It's worth any hastle to have the stroller there. You're baby doesn't want to be stuck on your chest all day, and you'll get really sore, but they're great for a while. I used a stroller that lays down flat for my 6 week old. It wasn't to big and it was easy to fold up. I put bottles of water down below!
