Oh, and they and the laser printer are connected by an Airport. The DeskJet color printer isn't airport-able.

Maybe the DeskJet is not directly networkable, but couldn't you connect it as a local printer to your desktop machine and make it a shared resource? That's how I have one of our printers connected--it's Jen's desktop's local printer, but shared, so my (wired) desktop and (wireless) laptop can both use it as long as her desktop is on.
I'll post my specs later.

You can also get a Wireless Print Sever (about $90 at Best Buy). It should be able to connect to Airport, plus you can put the printer wherever you want ;)
DisneyFan25863 05-02-2003, 06:02 PM adriennek, if you are interseted in a airport wireless printserver, the only one that I could find was a $299 HP one.
Here is the link to the review (http://www.applelinks.com/reviews/hpwp100/wireless.shtml)
adriennek 05-02-2003, 06:04 PM Thanks.
For $300, I'll either use the airport to network the files from my laptop to the iMac or I'll unplug my laptop and carry it into the office and plug it directly to the color printer ;)
