QuikQuote: While this time Euro Disney's performance will have benefited from the second park, attendances have fallen short of hopes.
"2002 was very disappointing in terms of attendances at the second park and that is very problematic," said Virginie Blin at brokerage Wargny. "In 2003, given the economic and geopolitical context, it will be difficult for them to increase attendances, which makes it difficult for them to make the new park profitable."

With Euro Disneyland only a few feet away and the same price, I don't know how they expect the french to like Walt Disney Studios even half as much. I think they should sell 2 park tickets only, until WDS can stand on it's own.

Is the French resort oblivious to what's going on in California? Are no lessons to be learned from Disneyland vs. DCA?

A lame park next door to a wonderful park is not going to meet attendance projections - ever!

Fix it, and fast, is the only way to get the attendance numbers up to what they hoped for (in their ridiculous, cheapskate dreams).
Even if they were to be wise and willing enough to go this route, they would have more than their work cut out for them: From what I hear (to be personally confirmed this summer), the Studio park is quite a few steps below California Adventure in quality.
