Day 1: Left on Friday right after school to drive to the HoJo's, we did great time, arrived by 7:15 PM, checked in and went right to MiMi's for dinner, then right back to the room to watch the fireworks, what a great view, this was our first time with a disney view room and we LOVED IT! off to bed.

Day 2: wake up early to get in right when they opened at 8AM, we did a one day one park ticket, this is my DD birthday and we didn't really have any more time, so one day it is...made it to the ticket booth by 8AM to purchase tickets and get Birthday and I'm Celebrating buttons, in the park by 8:15, not bad the lines were very short this morning, we went directly to Space Mountain, got fast passes then went on the ride, we sent Grandma to stand in the Nemo line, but to our amazement, there was no line, so she was just waiting for us, we walked right on, while on Nemo the CM had everyone on the sub sing happy birthday to my DD, how special was that! after Nemo we headed to Pixie Hollow to see Tinkerbell, very short 10 min wait, then to Fantasyland and rode MTWR, the kids didn't want to wait for any other lines there so we headed to BTMR, we got fastpasses and also rode then headed over to the River Belle Terrace for breakfast. Next was Pirates, HM and Splash Mountain, DD asked if her and her cousin could ride this by themselves (they are both 9 and usually don't go on rides alone) so I agreed and walked with them in line and then stood by the exit and waited, wow people were really getting soaked today! Next we wanted to go on Pooh ride, but is was closed, so we were off to get fast passes for Indiana Jones, by now the park was getting crowded, so we headed back to Fantasyland to see Tangled and ride Matterhorn, on our way we stopped to watch a performance at (not sure the name of it, stage area to the left of the castle) while we were there we also watched them setting up for the Christmas Parade, they were setting up a large stage in front of the Castle, wish we could stay on sunday to watch. after watching the performance, (some dance team, they were very good) we walked around to matterhorn and then over to Tangled, that is very cute, her hair is 70 feet long, the girls thought it was wonderful and it was! the prince was very charming to them and they didnt want to stop chatting with them. Now we decided to head back to the room for a swim and rest for tonight, well the girls didnt get to rest, they stayed in the kids pool for a few hours then we headed back to the park to watch celebrate and use all our fastpasses and watch fantasmic and the fireworks, and we also fit in some more fantasyland rides and Jungle cruise and Pirates again! we wound up watching Fantasmic at 10:30, it was not crowded at all, but it was also way too late for us, we were all so tired. We usually never stay for one day and trying to fit everything into one day is exhausting.

Day3: we slept in and decided that we should have breakfast and let the girls swim a little more then check out and go to downtown disney for a while, what a nice surprise at 10AM when I totally forgot about the time change, it was actually 9AM! Yippee, we get an extra hour! I needed it today! we left the hotel about 1130 and parked at downtown disney, shopped for about 1 1/2 and decided it was time to head home, we grabbed a pizza and let the girls eat it in the car while watching a movie, they thought that was great! Until next time, we are going spring break, disappointed about not being able to get HoJo's, they are completely booked that week! I will have to keep checking with them and keep my fingers crossed for a cancellation...

Sounds like a wonderful quick trip. :)

I think my 9 year old will want to do a few things herself the next time we go. They get so independent at this age.
