Those of you that know who I am know that I have been known for *very* longs TRs in the past. This one will be short, in comparrision, and really just focus on one day in particular.

Youngest DD and I arrived Monday Oct 25th. Checked into DLH and headed to DL for a 2:30 PS at Cafe O. Had dinner at A's and and saw WoC.

Tuesday we enjoyed the parks and then the Halloween Party. We had breakfat at Minnie and Me and my DD had a long conversation with the Fairy Godmother. The FGM asked her what she wished for and she told her an emerald cut 1.5c diamond ring. LOL FGM told her she wasn't "her" FGM but she'd try and face book hers. It was pretty funny. We also had the opportunity to meet a very lovely family that posts here on MP.

Wed. DD's BF flew in. He had told her he wanted to come out for a few days as he had never been to DL before. While that was true there was more to his coming out to DL than he told her. He enjoyed the parks with us on Wed and Thurs. We were gifted VIP seating for WoC and that was awesome!!!

Thurs AM I got a call from my older DD, who had just been at DL with me last month. My 60th birthday was the next day and she called to tell me what her present to me was for my 60th. She and her BF were flying into So Cal to be with me on my bday and spend the weekend with us!!!!!!

Friday Oct 29th I turned 60. Youngest DD, her boyfriend and I headed into DL for a MM. Had breakfast at TTerrace went on SM and Buzz. My DD's fave place in DL is Snow White's Grotto so we headed there because her BF *just happened* to mention she had not shown him her most favorite spot at DL yet.

Time for a little backstory........ I have been taking my children to DL since they were 1 and 3. They are now 25 and 27. My youngest would ALWAYS want to go to SW's Grotto and throw coins in the well and then proclaim "some day a boy is going ask me to marry him right here".

As I was planing our Mother Daughter trip her BF came to me and asked if he could join us on our vacation for a few days. I told him of course then he simply said I also want to make her dream come true and propose to her at that Wishing Well. He asked me for her hand in marriage, I said yes and he booked his flight for Oct.

I had done some preplanning for their special day when I was at DLR in Sept. Here is how the Magic went down........

As we rounded the corner from TL to the front of the castle I noticed there was no Photo Pass photog at the Well so I told the kids to head up to the Well as I was going to grab a soda. I hightailed it to the front of the castle and grabbed a photo pass person and said, "Wishing Well Magical Moment now", she looked at me asked if I had arranged for a 10AM magical moment I said yes and she RAN to the Well. As it turned out my watch was a little fast and so the kids got to the well at 10 min to 10 rather than 10. I was right behind the photog. We made it to the Well just as her BF was telling her to close her eyes, throw a coin in the well and make a wish. As she did that he dropped to one knee pulled the ring out of his pocket and when she opened her eyes he proposed. The photo pass person was snapping pictures like crazy and I was trying not to bawl like baby and take some pictures too!

After some tears of happiness, congrats from on lookers and getting my photo pass card scanned with the pictures, I pulled a Wedding Minnie headband and just engaged buttons from my purse got the newly engaged couple looking newly engaged and escorted them to SBC for a private cruise, complete with bubbles! From there they were escorted by a CM to TTown where they had a private meeting with MM and lots more pictures. From there it was a water side table at BB for lunch. After lunch we headed back to DLH to meet my other DD and her BF. When we got to the room on the kids bed was confetti, balloons, a sliver wedding frame and bride and groom mugs courtesy of DLH. We met up with my other DD and her BF and the kids went for drinks at the Uva Bar before we headed back to DL. When they got back to DLH to change into their costumes for the halloween party the hotel had sent them sparkling cidar and tuxedo chocolate dipped strawberries and my other DD had brought champagne.

We headed to Big Thunder Barbque for dinner but had to stop at SBC to thank the CM that had arranged the private cruise and meeting with MM. When we got to her attraction she gave the kids his and hers MM watches and autographed character pics with congrats from the Fab Five. She also gave me a MM watch for my 60th.

After a wonderful dinner at BTB we enjoyed the Halloween party till closing.

The next morning my now future SIL flew back to Chicago and the rest of us stayed at DLR through Sun Oct 31st mid day. We had more wonderful meals, did Riverside seating for F! and just had an absolute blast.

On our final day we stopped back at the PI and my DD was able to talk to the FGM she had talked to on Tues. The FGM was thrilled she got her 1.5 c emerald cut and I got awesome pictures of the two of them together.

I've been going to DL since 1956. I've been taking my children to DL since 1986. Oct 29th 2010 was the most magical day I have ever had at DL. Dinners at Club 33, backstage tours, or penthouse suites can't hold a candle to the magic and happiness I felt Oct 29th 2010. :)
