Adrienne said in her column: Join Secret Agent MM as he takes on Operation M.I.C.K.E.Y.
This Top Secret Mission will give secret agents the opportunity to purchase a Top Secret File containing six different missions which will guide them to designated Laotians throughout Disney's California Adventure.

Looks like Disney's going all out for this one; they're even flying in people from Asia. ;) Must be part of trying to represent the multicultural aspect of California, right?

Heehee. :p

I'm a horrible person but several jokes that would keep me from serving on the Supreme Court have come to mind.

I still hope to find my self on the highest bench someday so I'll keep them to myself.

It's funny, though. It wasn't until I saw Johnny Rivers at a county fair that I learned that the song is "Secret Agent Man" and not "Secret Asian Man".

Also, I can still remember when I learned (seventh grade, fourth period - an hour I worked as a library assistant, about 10 minutes before the hour ended) that Agent Orange and not "Asian Orange" was the controversial herbicide used in Vietnam (when I was really young I thought Asian oranges were simply poisonous oranges).

It's a good thing they are designating the Laotians so you just don't go up to any Laotians that you happen to meet and ask them about this secret mission. Perhaps you are supposed to get designated lotions, you know to keep you silky smooth.

Alex, that is a lot of specific information about your library assistant's job. I worked in the library when I was in junior high but I don't remember the grade, day, period, hour or anything. Also, from what I know about you (which is admittedly little), there are many, many, many things that would keep you off the Supreme Court, so let's hear those jokes.

How do you tell Laotians from the ones that are fully ordained? Is it the collar?

There are several reasons I remember so well when it happened.

1) The other assistant that hour was named Karen; let's just say that there were two prominent reasons that time alone with Karen was etched into my brain.

2) Early in the school year I discovered that she thought an orgy was a big scary monster (an ogre). I teased her relentlessly (while surreptitiously keeping an eye on her two prominent reasons).

3) It was the first hour after lunch, so I know it was fourth period.

4) The discovery that I thought Agent Orange was Asian Orange was Karen's opportunity for "Orgy/Ogre" ridicule retaliation.

5) I was very grateful at the time that the hour was almost over so that the intensity of fresh ridicule was kept to a minimum.

I will not share the jokes because, honestly it was wrong to even think them. However, I'll also show restraint because I hold out hope that some day the Surpreme Court will overcome its silly bias against non-lawyers on the bench.

Dream Fullfilment Team:

Go to Home Depot...buy some wood. Build a bench.
Consider yourself close enough to the prize.

That actually took me about 30 second of staring to figure out what the heck you were talking about.

You are quicker than I am Alex, after about a minute, I gave up.

And as someone who's listed as a copy-writer on the site, I would like to say: 1- I didn't copy edit this piece and 2- when I read the article this morning, I found it and IM'd it to Tony. Then came to this thread and LAUGHED and LAUGHED. And read it over the phone to AVP, while LAUGHING.

That was really enough of a reason for me. No further explanation was necessary.

Aargh, I can't get that song out of my head. What's worse, I now have visions of Austin Powers dancing around during that scene where they play this song!
