Hey all!
A few friends and I were having our own semi-work related scavenger hunt the same day as yours. Yours was, well to say the least, WAY BETTER! I actually got the chance to meet of few teams. That's what prompted me to sign on as a Mouse Planet member.
Anyway...to get to the point. Since I really have no idea what it is like to participate in the MouseAdventure....is there a way I can get a sample of the types of questions and puzzles there wereso that I can bone up for the one in the Fall?
Thanks!
A chipmunk;)

Hi chipmunk, and welcome to MousePlanet/MousePad! :)
There are a few of the older MA's online (I'm assuming they haven't been taken down)--you should be able to find them by using the search on the MP home page.
Better yet, you might want to read the threads about the Mouse Adventure and Mad Scrambles right here on the boards. I think you'll find a lot of useful--or at least, interesting--information.
The first thing you can do is visit our MouseAdventure web page [http://www.mouseplanet.com/mouseadventure] for all the links to past articles. You can also do a search here in our MousePad discussion board for the word "MouseAdventure" (click on the gray rectangular "search" button in between the "home" and "register" buttons above) to get a sense of what people discuss about it.
Finally, if you don't already like puzzles, go and pick up one of those at the supermarket magazine racks -- not the crossword puzzle books, but the "variety puzzles" type books. Our event always incorporates these types of puzzles as part of each quest.

But as far as actuall parts of the games, no they don't give that stuff out. But what I've noticed is that the game has changed quite a bit the last three times. It's a blast, you have to try it to get the full effect!
But if someone got a hold of the actual materials, they could give someone unfair advantage when reverse-engineered I suppose.

So I'm reading what a blast you've all had, and being new to Mouseplanet, I am absolutely dying to know when the next one will be!!!! It sounds like too much fun to be missed!

The closest date we can give you right now is "October."
We usually have a more specific date about two to three months out.
Hope that helps, we'd love to have you join us!

While your at it, check out team #10's results. We only beat 2 teams but we have a great time at every event. Thats all that matters to us. Some day we will be in the top 50! :D :p
Oh, and btw, welcome to mousepad/mouseplanet. You'll have many hours lost here. So beware! :~D
