How big is this? the thing that always gets me with these thumbs, is I don't know if what I'm looking at is an inch across or a foot?

Whatever it is appears to be attached to fabric of some sort. Perhaps it's a belt?

I was holding this in my hand and had it up against this back ground that I was standing next to.

Dumbo's feather would be correct. Were you peaking on the Reverse thread you started?

Nope. I had initially thought it had been the feather, but I don't remember it being gold. I thought it was black.

It is a bit, but not too awfully realy.

It is not in bug's land, pooh corner, or alice in wonderland. I'm not sure what it's made of as it is out of reach.
