View Full Version : Our Third, "Where in the Disneyland Resort?" picture game thread.

Drince88 pointed me to this one when I had a similar idea. Looks like a fun game.
So I'm wondering how any of you feel about a similar game, but in reverse? A thread that would provide clues to a particular thing located the Disneyland Resort (from Dland, DCA, Esplanade, to maybe even the 3 hotels). One to three clues help to provide the item and where it's located and players post their answers.
Now here's the thing. I have put some thought into it and here's the part I think could be kind of complicated. The answers. Should the players post their answers by posting pictures, or just typing them in their posts with a little detailed description to where they are? Cause I know pictures that are taken could be different sizes and there probably is a limit as to how many (or how much) attachments that can be posted at one time.
I'd thought I'd ask before just trying it out.

Side of the Splash Mountain flume in the station/loading area. Or at least near the area. But it is definitely the side of the Splash flume. I would know that ride anywhere.

I agree, it almost looks like that first area where they take you up the small grade.

Though the bars of the flume could be quite common among all the water rides, the red asphalt in the upper right corner is the key to what ride it is. I used to work that ride, so I would know it anywhere.

Very good (educated) guess Aidensdaddy... it is the side rails of Splash Mountain. Right after the last referb... Pretty neat that you picked up on the color of the "red asphalt"!

I know, but I was looking for an additional clue, not another point. But you only said it was correct, when I was asking if it was a shop or a ride. :p

It is in a shop or attraction... ;) Perhaps "20 questions" rules should be applied to your requests. i.e. "Is it in a shop?"

I can only think of it being somewhere in either New Orleans Square or Main Street. You said not in Fantasyland, but Critter Country, Toontown, & Tomorrowland are eliminated because it doesn't fit the themes. I can't visualize anywhere in Frontierland that it would be in.
The only thing I can think of it being in Adventureland is Tarzan's Treehouse, but that is a long shot.

It is not in TT or Adventureland, Critter Country, Toontown, Frontierland or Tomorrowland. Boy I should just tell you where it is! Think big picture.
Perhaps you should start on the ground floor and work you way up..
