During Halloween Haunts of the past, which haunted attraction is your favorite?
Mine was the Log Ride w/ Santa Claws in it. It was a Xmas theme with demented elves and a deformed Santa at the end w/ huge clawed hands.

I didn't know they did that. That would be kewl. The thing I never got with the log ride, Calico train, Dinosaur, etc. was why they never updated their AA figures. They've been the same motionless figures since the beginning of the park.

I hope this category gets popular. I must say that the one thing I love as much as Disneyland is Halloween Haunt. I have attended about every year since 1987! I can't get enough of the stuff. Bait's Motel and Uncle Ernie's Madhouse (all incarnations of it) are my favorites.

I would have to go with the year they had Vampyre. The one where it looked like the vamps pulled a girl out of your group and killed her at the end. Also, Uncle Ernie's Madhouse scared the crud out of me. It was full of Killer Klowns and I freaked.

I only went once in 99 but I have to say I loved it! I can't wait to go again. My fave was the hotel one. Freaked me out!!!

This year it would have to be Blood Bayou. Featuring yours truly!
I don't know that I have a favorite attraction, but I do have a favorite effect. I love the rooms where everything is black and splattered with neon paint. The black-light illuminates only the paint, which makes it really hard to see shapes in the room - like the people who are also wearing paint-spattered black clothing, ready to jump out at you!
In the olden days, when I was an event decorator, I used to attend a convention that was held at the same time as the National Halloween and Party Show in Chicago. I got a great sneak-peek at the coming year's effects and costumes, 8 months before Halloween. Of course, it sort of ruined the whole point of the "Haunt" for me the last time I went. I know the monsters were supposed to be scary, but whenever someone would jump out at me, I was way more interested to see how all of the cool stuff I had previewed was put into use.

My first and only maze right now is Alien Attack.
I went through the previews of it for two of the last three weekends.
I am going on Oct 5 this year for the first time!
I can't wait.
Maybe I will find you, No1here at Blood Bayou!

I have only been twice to the Halloween Haunt, and I am already getting used to going every year now. My favorite maze last year was the Horrorwood Hotel. I especially loved the Poltergeist part of the maze. and I also like the Gothic Graveyard, when the big wall comes out and scared the bejeezus out of my friend. That was a great time.

no1here is right. Uncle Ernie's was great.
There was also one that was a twisted Mother Goose Maze. It was awesome. You had a cracked Humpty squirting blood, a huge fire-breathing dragon and, best of all, you went down a hall and on the ground was a hacked up baker and candlestick maker... when you turned down a hall there was the butcher standing in your way with a bloody cleaver that he just used to kill his two comrades. It was very, very clever.

Either last year or the year before there was a hotel with a movie room full of "Scream" guys in chairs, (and a few of them that were real people) that you had to walk down the center isle. That scared me!
My whole family is going on Oct. 4th for the preview and maybe again closer to Halloween. Only 4 more days.
Hopefully your maze will be up no1here. Wear a mouse pin so we know who you are ;)
