I am familiar with Back To The Future out here at USH. The upkeep on that ride is horrible. The foam that cushions the in-delorean TV screen is falling out and blocking the monitor, the fog effects don't work, the film is filled with dust and lint, the projection screen filled with stains and scratches. It really is shoddy.

Is Back To The Future at USF any different? Is it kept up better?

I also wanted to know why Halloween Horror Nights at USH was stopped and if it will ever start again. For some strange reason, I always enjoyed Halloween Horror Nights over Knotts Halloween Haunt. Maybe 'cause it's closer to me and it doesn't involve a trip down the ol' 5.

Oye... Thanks in advance.

I haven't ridden the one at USH, but I have ridden the BTTF at USF, most recently last month, and it was not that run down. It is a rough ride, but fun.

We enjoyed our visit at USF and IOA. :)

I may be wrong, but it might have something to do with cost.

I think the main reason is the traffic that builds up around the studio. The neighbors around that area have been fighting USH on expansion issues forever.

Any chance of HHN's returning to Hollywood? I think they could make a real go of it now with their expanded pass holder base. The last few years they had the event out here I really think the quality was superior to Knotts! I miss the event.

There's a very good chance that it will return within a few years. USH has all of their HHN's costumes, sets, props, etc. in a storage wherehouse in Glendale. If they didn't plan on bringing it back, they would have shipped everything over to USF for Florida's HHN's. Poor marketing and other management problems killed all plans for a HHN's V. So, hopefully, they will have learned from their mistakes and will do it right next time. Besides, if Knott's Berry Farm can do it, so can a major studio like Universal - especially when taken into consideration their horror movie history.
