Dolewhips are another thing I have never tried (This will be my 7th trip in 9 years). This year we will because my sons favorite thing in the whole world is pineapple :)
I am heading to portland tonight after work. (it will be 12 hours of torture :) ) I'm sure I will go through every step while I am there :)
You all know that commercial where the kids are "too excited to sleep". My kids are like that right now. (its 230 my time) I have to be at work at 4 am. That is why I love taking them :)

Planning is a great thing but don't have it down to every minute take time to sit and watch people...go back to your room in the middle of that day and come back out in the evening rested....i live just moments away from the park and I'm visiting it on Thursday first thing i do is plan for food (if I need resv or not) and where I want to start and what I really want to ride that day then I go....

I do also want to do Paradise Pier at night so we get to see the lights up close for once, though!

Paradise Pier is the back portion of California Adventure where California Screamin' and Toy Story Midway Mania, etc...is located. It's very pretty at nighttime.

Of course it looks a lot different now with the new face lift.:D
I assume what that's what the O.P. meant. It could also mean the hotel, Paradise Pier.

He might consider just getting the pineapple juice, then. There is only the barest minimum bit of crystallized pineapple in the dry mix for the Dole Whips, and to me tasted more like what I assume pineapple-flavored melted plastic would taste like.
Glass of pineapple juice and/or a big pineapple spear will do him a lot better than the Dole Whips!
