This month, we’re heading down the road from our usual meeting location to pay a visit to Walt’s Barn at the L.A. Live Steamers. We’ll tour the barn and learn more about Walt’s love of trains and the little railroad that helped to inspire Disneyland. We'll see an exhibit of real steam-powered equipment. And, we'll enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds of the L.A. Live Steamers while having some refreshments.
If you’d like to have some big fun on a small train, free rides on the Live Steamers’ miniature trains are available just a short walk away from Walt’s Barn.

Just a few minutes drive away, we'll get to see another inspiration for Disneyland! The Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round, where Walt often took his daughters for a Sunday of fun. And, if you’d like to see more trains, there are full-size trains on display at Travel Town, also just a few minutes away.

Please join us for a beautiful day in the park, with lots of things to see, and the chance to spend some time with fellow Disney fans. The Chapter will provide beverages for you to enjoy with the picnic lunch you bring with you.
