I will be leaving Los Angeles to Anaheim on saturday may 15 2010. I will be at Anaheim before launch. And i will leave anaheim on may 17 at morning. Do you think half a day for DCA (may 15) and a full day (sunday may 16) for Disneyland is possible? or i will have to run to much?

thanks!

YES the one and half days should be fine for you to do both parks.

Im a fan of ride max especially if you only have a few hours one day and then the next day, bunch in everything you want to do and see how it comes out, see if you can do it all, see what happens when you play areound with the options. Then you will have a good idea of what you can get to and also how to make the most of your time.

thanks for both replys....i understand that it's possible but i will have to plan well where i will want to go on DL...it's a pity that Disney only publish the schedule for six weeks in advance, i wish to plan my trip now ;)...(i 'm to anxious) ;)....i also hope ROA will be refurbished by that time....

how do you think the crows would be on that weekend? (saturday may 15 and may 16)...

thanks!

Yeah, you should be able to hit most of what you want. And I also recommend Ride Max. Very useful tool.

Weekends in spring are high season, so it will be crowded, but with some good planning, you'll be able to see a lot.

thanks! i didn't know about Ride Max but i find their website. Very interesting tool. I will definitively buy it (closer to my trip date). Thanks for letting me know about it. I went to WDW on january and had to plan everything manually ;)....

Based on the fact that weekends in spring are crowed, would you think i should consider moving the trip one or two days? For example arriving a sunday and do DCA and do DL on monday? Or i will miss something important like fireworks on a non-weekend day?

thanks for all! i m from outside the US and it's my first trip to DL!

I just opened ride max and can start planning my trip for Dec 11 to 17. It can be a little frustrating to wait to plan but now I have three weeks to play with how is the best option to plan everything from shows to fireworks to fantasmic to rides and even shops and dinners. I play and play and play until I get what makes the best for the kids and me, with naps and sleep.

So I am excited that there is Ride Max and that I can finally play and dream about my trip.

Personally I would always opt for a Sunday/Monday over a full weekend.

I don't think Fantasmic will be running then because they'll still be refurbishing the river. I'm not sure what their fireworks plans are for spring. But since it's high season, you might get Monday night fireworks. Definitely on Sunday.
