Anyone know a date yet for the Spring 2003
Mouse Adventure?
Three of us from Tucson and a friend we'll
meet up with in Anaheim want to know asap
so we can make travel plans and arrange
time off work!
Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks all!

I don't know what the dates are, but I'm sure it will be a lot of fun. That's why Team Bitter East Coast is already declaring a Moral Victory!!!
Now maybe someone can shed some light onto when this event takes place.

I think the moderators mentioned it might be the first Saturday in April. That is tenative, of course. There was another thread about this in the Lounge a little while back...

I don't know why HTH is mad about our Moral Victory. We're not bitter about the Moral Victory, we're bitter about being on the East Coast during MouseAdventure!

Please allow me to flex my ignorance; what is Mouse Adventure? Also DigitalLizard, I went to the UA too. Go cats!

Mouse Adventure is a non Disney sponsored
scavenger hunt held by Mouse Planet at
DLR in usually April/May and October.
It is usually like around $10 a person...
and you can have teams of up to 6 people I
think!
I did it with a friend last May, and she did
it again in October... and we both plan to
do it again together and add two other
friends to our team in April or May... whenever
they have it this year!
It is really fun! But a word of advice...
if you are making a trip to DLR... plan atleast
3-4 days... plan to make the scavenger hunt one
full day... (you aren't able to do rides and
stuff while you are doing the hunt... it is
too time consuming... so to get everything
in, you'll need the extra days...)
Cool another Wildcat on the boards! Awesome!
I work as a graphic designer @ UA and I'm
also a communication major there! :)

Here (http://www.mouseplanet.com/mouseadventure/) is some more information. Teams need to have at least two people, no more than four people.

Thanks, that looks awesome. We can't make the spring since my wife is due June 5th, but we are moving to the greater DL area at the end of the summer and will try it in October.
We plan to announce exact dates in the next week or two. There are few more things to nail down on the administrative side before we set the dates. However, we are still looking to an early-April time frame.

Here's my apology upfront for any derailment that may follow.
Have any of you guys from Tucson seen the house over by Grant/Speedway that has some sort of tower in the backyard with Mickey ears and the rod iron on their gate and door has Mickey heads all over it? It's over behind Coffee Exchange (is that still there?) and it's pretty cool.

Hey tiggerandtink!
let's see! grant and speedway run parallel
to each other... there are a couple of
coffee exchages but one on grant
is at the corner of grant
and campbell about a mile north of the
university medical center!
is that the coffee exchange you mean?
there is a couple of elaborately decorated
wrought iron type displays back in there...
(I bet a UA art student lives there - ha ha ha!)
I haven't noticed any mickey stuff there...
but I'll have to check it out! I sometimes take
my lunch break at the park west of coffee
exchange on grant... I'll have to wander thru
the neighborhood soon!
thanks for telling me about it!

Yea, about that, I meant Grant and Campbell. Sorry about that. I believe it's on Water (not positive though), right down the street from the guy that has his "art" in his yard, metal dragons and stuff. If you are wandering thru the park I'm thinking of you must get a small coffee. That's not much of a park. Anyway that's cool that there is a big group of Tucson/UA people on here. That may come in handy if we ever have to "represent".
;)
Hey awinner, if you look over there <-- you'll notice that I'm no longer basking in the warmth of an AZ winter. I'm knee-deep in rainwater.

This is great meeting all of you wildcats on the boards!
Wherever you may be today... you will always be
a Wildcat!
I'm all the way out on the east side of town near
saguaro national monument east... and I'm
considering a move further east out to the Vail area!
(I'm insane!)
Hope to get to meet some of you at the Mouse
Adventure then!

Too bad that no matter what happens..........I can't go :( (why don't YOU try having parents who thought that my "Disney" mood should have worn off looooooooong ago, and only brought AP's because I begged them every.......day..........for...........three...... ......years :) (Well, actualy it was because I convinced them we would SAVE money by buying them, and we have) ;)

You can't have our Moral Victory, if that's what you're after. I'm sorry, but we've already claimed it. :D

Sorry Lashbear, but HTH claimed our Moral Victory long, long ago, not only for this MouseAdventure but for all future MouseAdventures. Shall I hunt him down and have him quote himself? (Where is he anyways? Lashbear, what have you done with him?)
