Dianne's Estate Jewellery is presenting their trunk show and sale at their two Bay Area locations (San Francisco and Healdsburg) at the end of November and beginning of December. Dianne's operates Jewel of Orleans, aka "The Sparkly Store", in Disneyland's New Orleans Square. Here's the flyer they sent us:

Oh dear. This is distressing and very dangerous news. I should say 'Thank you for sharing, Andrew,' but I'm not sure my credit cards will agree.

Just got back from the private show in Anaheim. There was a ton of excellent stuff to be had! It would be very much worth going to if you are looking for something special.

I wasn't expecting the line to be set up the way it was. I don't think they quite knew what to expect - they did say that for next time, they'll have a better idea how to handle it.

Overall, though, it was very nice, though I'm not sure it'll be quite the same at the other locations, since the clientele will be different. And there's a lot of pieces that won't be making it up to the NoCal shows!

The line that formed was definitely not what I expected, but turned out to be nice and orderly. Took a long time to get through though. They mentioned that they expected folks would come and go between the cases and the tables but everyone just wanted to see the jewelry! Hard to blame them considering so many pieces went out the door.

Lots of the delays in the line came from folks purchasing pieces. The Diane's people already know that was an issue and I'm sure something will be done to make next time better.

In all, an excellent show and a great time! I can't wait for the next one!

I understand why they did what they did (Security, Cameras), but I think 5 separate stations (which matches up with the 5 display cases they had) would be better.

Many folks wanted to say hello to Christopher, who used to work at the DLR location, but moved to the Healdsburg Store when it opened. By separating the cases, folks could have made a decision, but honestly, most folks would want to see all 5 cases anyways.

What got me was the person who said "I am just going to Barge in front of everyone".

To all those who waited in line and did the right thing... THANK YOU!
