Hello everyone- I’m hoping someone here can offer some advice on the WDW internship program. I’m a 20-year-old, information management major and am considering interviewing for the fall internship. Has anyone here participated? If so can you please say what you enjoyed/ didn’t enjoy and if you think it’s worth while. Any input is greatly appreciated, thank you!
I have met about 5 people who went through the Disney College Program. Most enjoyed it. :) A few were disappointed that they had jobs that seemed menial, but others thought it was a terrific experience and a great way to spend a few months in a fun environment.

I hope it is still around when my daughter is in college.

One of the great resourses of this site is to do a search of thread for a key word. At the bottom of the pages is a search box. If you put internship in the one on the bottom of the WDW discussion page, you will be lead to a thread from November where a number of people who had done internships exchanged their views. Good luck
Here is a linnk to it. :)

I just finished up my College Program last month and I had a great time and met some awesome people...many of them on these boards. BUT, and I mean BUT....I wouldnt do the program unless you are really intrested in the Disney Company. I say that because the jobs arent the best and the pay isnt the best, which causes a lot of kids bad attitudes toward the program. If you are really interested, then I say go for it. Because after the college program, you can finally apply for the really good internships. The CP is just a way for Disney to weed through the kids that just want a 5-month vacation on Disney.
But after all that jibber-jabber, the College Program is still what you make out of it. I personally had a great time, but then Im really serious about a future with the Company, so there ya go!
