All dark rides, all one day each, all within one week....?

OK, I'm guessing that this is for the installation of the new ride operator control panel that I've been hearing about. Apparently the new system will require two people to "release" the vehicles, rather than the single-operator system now in place.

And all in Adventureland. Those all have the same ride system, don't they? So that sounds possible, Adrienne.

Does anyone know if they are still planning on closing Splash Mountain down for refurb? Refurb Mike's site shows it closing on 2/3 but there is no corresponding info on the Disneyland site.

Anyone know for sure since we are coming down on 2/8&9?

RefurbMike's site tends to be somewhat behind the times. I enjoy Mike's site, but it is just a hobby for him.

The refurb list here at MP is pretty accurate. (Disney can always change their mind, and in fact do!)

In fact that is the story with the Splash Mountain rehab. It has been pushed back three times since being announced in early December. Now, one of the reasons why it has been pushed back is to allow the Matterhorn and King Arthur's to return before they close something else down. So, Disney changing the dates is not always a bad thing, but it is hard to plan a trip...

So, MousePlanet and Disney.com are both showing that Splash Mountain (and the entire Critter Country area) being closed from February 24th thru March 13th). And that should be the dates, I doubt that they will push this rehab back any more, since they need to have the area open for Spring Break, and to be able to have the Grand Opening of Pooh.
