i will be visting DL next year. I will be on LA a few days and i want to spend some extra days on Anaheim (i get in loved with WDW and i want to know the park where Walt was)
- Is there any difference to be there on april or may 2010?
- I read a lot about fantasmic and about fireworks. Are both the same thing?
- I 'm planning to stay at Holiday Inn (i have good experiences in other citys. It costs about USD150 per night with tax). What do you think about it?
thanks!

Late April/May will probably be about the same attendance wise.
Fantasmic! and the fireworks are 2 separate events. Fireworks on in the sky over Disneyland, Fantasmic! is on a stage on the Rivers of America.
The Holiday Inns are further than I like to stay, so I haven't stayed there.

May might be your better bet. I don't recall offhand when Easter is next year, but now schools and spring breaks are more flexible, with alot of schools doing longer two-week breaks, etc. It may be less crowded in May.
No, fireworks are usually a long show (I think about 15 minutes long at least). Fantasmic is a "stage show" but utilizes the boats and water of Rivers of America, and has great firework/water feature special effects.
Which Holiday Inn? We've stayed in the one on Walnut, adjacent to the Mickey & Friends property, I could give you more details about that location. I think for sure, you could stay at the same location and pay less than $150 though!

I don't have much to add to the previous posts, but I will agree that $150 is probably a bit too much for a Holiday Inn near Disneyland. If that price is for a suite rather than a standard room the price is a bit more understandable but still might be a little too much.
Now if that $150 is including your park admission, the price may be just about right.
Good luck!

I m not sure if i will be there on a friday or weekend days. żDo you know if Fantasmic usually performs other days on may? I don't know if may is high or low season and schedule for 2010 isn't yet on Disney page.
thanks!

F! Plays on Friday-Sunday in May. I think ROA should be refilled by may (FYI: they are draining the river for cleaning in January).
