Almost done planning ADR's....In filling a lunch spot, would you choose a late Boma Breakfast Buffet or Tusker House Lunch Buffet? We already have Boma Dinner for a different day.

I'd probably go for the lunch.
Biggest reasons are logistical and timing, which may or may not apply to you.
I don't rent a car, so getting from another resort to Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast is a bit of a challenge. Basically, you have to bus to a park (like Animal Kingdom) and then take the bus there to AKL. If you have a car, that's not really a huge decision making concern. If you're staying at AKL, I'd do an earlier breakfast at Boma so you can get going to a park.
But if you're enjoying Animal Kingdom at rope drop (or near) you're going to have to leave to go to your late breakfast. Not a really something I'm usually interested in doing. If you're not 'up and at em' people, then this may not be a huge concern, if you're not interested in touring AK first thing in the morning.

I agree entirely with the logic of Cathy's post but Tusker House lunch is the only TS I would not give a second chance.
Then again I had a very sulky little boy that day, it had rained a lot, for a lot of days and I may not have retained a reasonable perspective. My BF raves about it at Tusker House.
For us; the service was very poor, the server appeared to be competing with DS for most truculent person of the day award and the food stations were half empty for the whole of our meal. I was not at my best, wanted a glass of wine and it took an age to arrive.
And it was noisy in there.

We had breakfast at Boma last year, but it was not part of a park day. We had been staying at the AKL, and it was our check-out day. Our flight was early enough that we did not have time to hit a park, or really do anything but have breakfast. It was a very nice breakfast, but I would not go out of my way, or take a chunk out of my morning for it. The only way I would, probably, do a big meal, at a resort, for breakfast, would be if I knew I'd be hitting the park for early EMH, and I'd be getting there really early, the reservation would allow at least a couple of hours in the park, first, and the resort was very close to the park (say, Chef Mickey's, after going to the MK early). Or, if it's a non-park day, or a leisurely, late-start sort of day, after staying out very late EMH.

One option you might not be aware of - at Tusker House they start serving their breakfast buffet a full hour before park opening. So you can get into the park with almost no one else there, have a nice breakfast, and be ready to go when they open up the park. Just a thought.

We've done Boma for both breakfast and dinner and Tusker House for lunch. The only one we were disappointed in was the breakfast at Boma. The food was ok, but the selections were rather limited. The other two were great though. I would vote for lunch at Tusker House.:)
