I know that there have been a couple threads about Disney Stores changing and closing, but have any of you heard of or been to a Donaldson store? Apparently they are big in Europe. This was posted in a thread over at The Disney Corner and thought I would share it with the Mousepad: donaldson (http://www.donaldson.be/index1.htm)

Why don't we have this? Man! I wish I had known about this when I was in Germany last month. This stuff looks great!

Wow--awesome site. Like Ralph Lauren in mouse ears ;) The next person to go to Europe gets to take orders!

Exactly what I thought. I can't seem to find any way to order stuff, but a lot of it says coming soon.
The most obvious retail outlet of Donaldson isn't even listed on that map - it's Disneyland Paris, at the Disneyland Hotel gift shop.
The clothes *are* stunning, as are the price tags. While I very much enjoyed looking at the sweaters we saw on our last trip to DLP, for $700, I thought they should come with a frame so I could hang them on my wall for eternity.
Donaldson's license extends only to Mickey, (and a very limited amount of Minnie). You will find no other Disney characters on their clothing, and *no* Pooh. (Although they show Pooh items in their vignettes, there are no Pooh icons on the actual products) That may change with the 2004 collection, but was true through the 2002 and 2003 collections.
Hmmm - maybe I'll "swing" by there next time I'm in Belgium and take the factory tour.

Finally there is an upside to living in Denmark :D
I LOVE Donaldason, I have 4 pair of Donaldson jeans and they are the best jeans ever.
It is pricey stuff, but the quality is very good.
There is a Donaldson store in copenhagen 10 minutes from where I work but for my economys sake I dont go too often..
