We're making our first trip in December, and because we'll be coming back again March, I want to get AP's, plus a Tables In Wonderland Card for myself only. What is the best way to handle getting the AP's and TIW card quickly once we arrive so we can head into the park, or can I do all of it ahead of time?

I ask because I know that at Disneyland that AP line can be horrendously long as in 45 minutes....

You can buy the annual passes off of the disney website here (http://tickets.disney.go.com/buy/TicketTrans?storeID=DRD&category=DORY_ANNUAL_PASSES&tokens=C1SWy4uooqbVfwCfm%2BuMm3XoP6D0UILkBd0hJ69rD zJ73vEB4rzjU2LQjeU1EPWDst7ndyzcAbAuchhjJogRzgHO3IX 3qmXy97Fb%2BbENCrPG69wDATJZgsk%2FxoYKeFQfhMl4XhtHM ZXSUJWUB7tbYvHB%2B1zz3s7h65xXOBpAc%2B%2FVRnmlv67B1 XT20T392vFhYUI%2FqhjKxkMGBi4QkoKFQAVY7CiN01WC1c4Yb CEUZOu2DVCto85j1H6QQrLKAwkIWuZoj%2BQLBd7cUqvbpZzKC pGCv0qBbNzjgec9Y8mf9UAz8bld9clw032EmuakXsl5hGP%2BC z9G%2FFamHtpBS%2BKK51rIViepGVtZfMv0nuXbWCTYxxAo%2F sN1crbqtRYxxc93HaBTreon0TnoV9X9Zn5N0TjkY21QYUcPHaB Treon0TlPTbeN%2FaYMJVspk%2B%2FWk%2BRmUU0fmGmC3Wasi CaNNoH5N2d6ItmHAR25n4sL9PHn5YRNMYXXOy1YUyLn2eihPLy aHyR5LdXqoYPfpx5jfinkJE583l0BFcr%2FwozFOKwhvo6HGNY isLiHXw9OqkWnkVmRxyc4UUeNGzHYic%2BbfSW1HccnOFFHjRs x3xYXzoM2bycWSApqt8ooDJE%2FUZRYyNFv015mXDoADueZC8% 2BHWNSVtiwd9ggQFJrcYw%2BmC5lsleYjGjlVfpBUbYGNTCXET 8o2SYrxiQIXNvi7oErQTJxe39qg8exd%2Fu%2FYDusMKSKlvGt %2BdFdvGft0MpFVCyn8JjUL&drnid=7051099)

You can buy the TiW card by calling (407) 566-5858. Since you are purchasing your annual pass before hand I don't know how that works with purchasing the TiW card. I don't know how you prove that you have an Annual Pass.

I have purchased all of my APs while at WDW and it was a very fast process. Especially because I was upgrading, then using gift cards, and then paying with credit card. It took me all of about 10 minutes doing all three. When me and my boyfriend went down and did all of that and also purchased the TiW card it took about 20 minutes because she had to each transaction. It is usually very quick so if you feel more comfortable purchasing at the parks I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

Thank you! If I can do the whole process in roughly 20 minutes, that would probably be worth the convenience. I can do everything together at the Guest Relations Office in any of the 4 parks, right? ...But not at my WDW resort when checking in...

Yes.

20 minutes is a really long estimate when you're using multiple payment methods, I don't think it normally takes me that long, by any stretch. They don't have to take your picture or anything, which is where the long line is at DL (plus the local/AP to MYW tickets ratio is skewed the other direction than DL).

When you purchase an AP on the website or in the Disney Store, you receive a voucher, so you have to convert those to an actual AP at the ticket window anyway. You can also do it at Downtown Disney or any of the Water Parks ticket windows, too. But I just purchase my TIW card at the same time.

Right! It only took me 10 minutes doing all of those transactions in Epcot's Guest Relations. If you are going to pay using 1 form of payment it will go very quickly!

Welcome back FunMom- although I expect the depression of being back has hit. I wanted to know how you faired with getting the AP pass. I will be posting a general question on the forums- but am trying to do what you have done. The problem is I have an exchange certificate (I bought my AP before the rate went up) which I need to exchange for an AP and they said I can not do it at MK- but can at the TTC. The tables of wonderland people said I can get it at MK but not at the TTC. Did you get your pass or TOW card at MK or TTC?

mckat, someone told me that I couldn't do the AP certificate exchange at the MK, and had to go to the TTC. They were wrong (at that point in time, anyway). I just went to the Guest Services location at the MK (inside security, to the far right as you're facing the turnstyles) and they dealt with both transactions just fine.

HOWEVER, last time I exchanged a certificate and bought a TIW, I did it at the International Gateway and I did have to go to two different lines to deal with it.

But I'd still try to do it at the MK windows if you're going to the MK your first day.
